Ballon d’Or 2021: Ronaldo in 8th position as top 9 possible winners revealed (See list)

Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain; Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski; and Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante have been named among the leading contenders to win the 2021 Ballon d’Or.

According to Sun UK, the above-named contenders are all trailing Lionel Messi of Barcelona, who is the odds-on favourite.

Relying on Betfare odds, The Sun reports that Lewandowski, Messi and Kante are the leading contenders for the Ballon d’Or

Messi is available at 4/11 to secure a record-breaking seventh award when the trophy is dished out in December after scoring 33 goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions for Barcelona last season.

The 34-year-old also helped Argentina beat Brazil in the Copa America final netting four goals and providing five assists.
