At least four (4) teams have qualified for this season’s Carabao Cup quarter-final following the conclusion of Tuesday’s round of 16 fixtures.
The likes of Wolves, Southampton, Newcastle United and Leicester City have all advanced to the fourth round after winning their matches on Tuesday.
Wolves defeated Gillingham 2-0, while Southampton won 2-1 against Lincoln City.
Newcastle United defeated Bournemouth 1-0, and Leicester City thrashed MK Dons 3-0.
Meanwhile, the remaining Carabao Cup round of 16 fixtures will continue on Wednesday and Thursday when Manchester United will face Burnley, among other fixtures.
Manchester City will tackle Liverpool at Etihad on Thursday night.
