Homeless boy who lived under bridge turns model; transformation photos go viral

Adeoye Fawaz, a homeless boy who lived under Oshodi bridge in Lagos, and had become a media frenzy after being introduced to chess by Tunde Onakoya’s Chess in the Slum, is now a Model.

Onakoya, on his Twitter page, shared photos of Fawaz posing with a car and captioned it, “Life update: Fawaz got his first modelling gig recently and could very well be on his way to superstardom as a chess player.”

Prior to winning the chess championship, Fawaz was working as a conductor.

He became famous after granting many interviews about his journey from Ibadan to Lagos which he said ended him homeless.

A tweep @Jacob Michael reacted to Fawaz’s photos saying: “This is a big transformation. It’s unbelievable. These are the stories we need.”
